Dīzeļvilcienu DR1AC, A/S "Pasažieru vilciens" vajadzībām, modernizācijas programmas ietvaros (5 trīs vagonu sastāvi un 1 četru vagonu sastāvs), Rīgas Dīzelis DG piegādāja 8 dīzeļģeneratoru komplektus. Dīzeļģeneratori ir izpildīti pēc individuāla projekta, ņemot vērā jaunākās dzelzceļatehniskās prasības.

Pirmais dīzeļvilciens DR1AC-219 ir pabeigt, sertificēts un nodots ekspluatācija 2016.gadā maijā.

Latvijā notiek iespaidīgais dīzeļvilcienu modernizācijas projekts. Kopā 6 DR1A sērijas vilcieni ir rekonstruēti un pilnība modernizēti saskaņā ar jaunākajiem Eiropas dzelzceļu standartiem. Vilcieni ir paredzēti AS "Pasažieru vilciens" vajadzībām, reģionālo pārvadājumu nodrošināšanai.

Modernizācijas process tika veikts kopā ar Rīgas Vagonbūves Rūpnīcu, Daugavpils Lokomotīvju Remonta Rūpnīcu un VRC Zasulauks.

Modernizācijas projekts sastāv no sešiem dīzeļvilcieniem (19 vagoniem): trīs vagonu sastāvs (5gab.), četru vagonu sastāvs (1gab.).

As part of infrastructure modernization of the signalling and communication system of the East-West Gate of the Latvian Railway, in cooperation with “Thales Rail Signaling Solutions Baltics” Ltd, 48 automatic diesel gensets with  capacity of 20-50 kVA, mainly containerized units, were delivered and installed in a short two-year period. 

Custom stand-alone (with automatic ventilation, heating, fire extinguishing systems) container-houses were installed on various sections of the railway, including stations: Livberze, Slampe, Tukums II, Zvare, Kandava, Sabile, Stende, Naujene, Izvalda, Silava, Lichi, Spare, Usma, Ugale, Elkskene, Ventspils, Kraslava, Skaista, Niedrica, Indra, Garoza, Zalite, Iecava, Misa, Vecumnieki, Lachplesis, Tornakalns, Menta, Daugavpils, Daudzeva, Sece, Selpils, Daugava.

Railroad train undercar gensets series EA10-40D2CASZ with power range 10 - 30 kW

Auxiliary and emergency power source applicable on various types of railroad train cars such as, restaurant cars, passenger cars, firefighting and special application cars. Installed in custom designed containers with all of the necessary performance appliances, such as automatic ventilation, firefighting system and others. Mountable via special pads under the railroad train car.
